Being a mom of four is one of the titles I wear proudly.
As with most other family's I believe like mine somewhat you have your bad days and your good. Keeping the ratio of good to bad days in check is how I do it. Today is a bad day for me 3 crying kiddos seemingly for no reason at the same time dealing with my own issues not to mention still have groceries to shop for and dinner and laundry and more it seems like I'm sinking. But as I write this I realize I havnt had a day this challenging in a while. That makes me glad and gives me a positive spin on the situation.
"This is just a bad day, not a bad life." Il keep praying my way through and thanking God for that little reminder. I wonder how many other parents out there could use that reminder also, how about you?
This is a blog about me and my life which Im betting is in some way much like everyone elses life and maybe we have lots in common, only 1 thing in common, or everything common. Keep reading and let me know.

1st attempt at making bows!
Ok so I actually have a nack for crafts and re-purposing things, I always have ideas of stuff to do but don't nearly often enough actually get to do the things I want. One reason might be I live in the present and don't set aside time for things I just go where the day leads which I think is a good way to live. Another reason is I'm very cost aware and don't like to spend money on things when Its not a need and that makes my want to do this or that just a want not a need so I end up putting it off. For mothers day this year me and the family went out to the store and no I didn't want any jewelry, or flowers that would just die or candy or any of that stuff what I wanted was all things crafty for the ideas I have going on in my head so we loaded up and got a few fabrics, ribbon, and other little things needed. Ive got what I need to make the curtains for my girls room and some tutus for the girls. Ive looked and tutus cost usually around 25.00 or more to buy but Ive seen the fabric and know I can make them much more cost efficient than that just gotta get to it. So that's my plan making tutus and then I thought well I'm going to have extra lil fabric leftover why cant I make lil bows with it?
So I looked online and sure enough it wasn't hard at all to make a bow out of tulle so I had this great idea to make matching lil bows for the girls and a matching headband for me while were in the hospital cause I'm sure I'm going to want my hair all up out of my face when it gets looking all nappy on day 2 of the stay and plus I thought it would be cute to take pictures and we all have lil matching bows going on. Ive of course as I'm used to put it off but seeing that delivery day may be just around the corner set aside some time during the evening while my boys were running around playing hardcore to bust out the fabric and get to it.
These are my boys and the tools I started out with looked simple enough right once I brought out all my goodies of course my boys were right there and I thought it was funny they both tilted their heads the same way to take the picture but a couple of supplies and fabric and I was set to go off they ran while I got busy.
This was my first bow attempt which I knew would end up being my bow because as I made it I could tell well this isn't exactly working right its not as fluffy as the girls even though I have now figured out to make them fluff and fixed the minor couple things I didn't do right the first time I didn't stop I just kept on going to see what end products I would get. I revamped my technique a bit and was off for more.
These are the girls bows which are much fluffier and my second and third attempt ever at making a bow might I add a little bit more working with the fluff and I was done with the bow making part.
So here's what I'm working with now Ive got my bow and a headband and then the girls headbands and their bows now it was time to bust out the hair clips and hot glue gun now for the easy parts.
And Yay I actually did it after a few ow ows from the heat of the glue gun it was nothing hardest part actually making the bow but after that the possibilities go from there both of the girls bows are on clips that I can remove from the headband if and when they do get hair making them even more convenient and usable I can add more decorations to them if I wanted but like I said this is my first try ever so I kept it simple as possible and I think they look pretty good they each have 8 petals of fluffy glittery pink poof, good enough for me! Cant wait to model them on my girlies! Now its your turn get out there and try something new!

Pregnancy in a Theatre
Ok so here I am 8 months pregnant, with twins none the less, and not able to do much in regards to going out on dates with my hubby. So he has started wanting to take me out to the movies since i cant do concerts, rodeos, museums, or anything where I'm out in the heat or needed to walk. My first thoughts are great I can see where hes coming from and yes we do still need to get out just the two of us from time to time but I see loud booming volumes and being stuffed in a seat for 2 hours or more and runs to the bathroom not so fun. But I decided to go for it there was an action flick and a comedy about pregnancy coming out that I really wanted to go see so we did and we went to 2 different theatres to see how things were as far as being comfy and able to handle.
I won't list the names of the theatres but one is in my town its always been my fave movie theatre since we moved here because I'm a frugal momma and you can actually still go here and see new movies for just 2.00/person if you go to the matinee and that's unheard of in regards to prices these days. Hubby had his pick of new action movie and we were off. Sure its not fancy and new like the other theatre we went to the seats are years old and don't do any fancy reclining or anything but it was nice and cool while we were in there and I have to say my movie trip was pleasant. It was in 3D and looked and sounded great I will say for the first half of the movie my babies were moving nonstop due to the sound being so loud I was giggling and feeling them wondering what they were thinking because were in the dark which is usually quiet time but nope no quiet to be had during awesome fighting scenes today.
The next movie I wanted to see was a chick flick and comedy and was pretty funny I gasped in disbelief on some of the things that happened and laughed at others because it was so typical of pregnancy. This movie wasn't showing my usually theatre so we drove to the next town over where it was showing in the big new fancy theatre which is maybe a year old now. Cost is through the roof but lucky us we get a military discount so that took the edge off a bit. My husband thought wed like it better because the seats recline and they did even the arm in between us came up and moved out of the way so you can sit closer or in my case turn my body sideways to shift my weight a few times. Movie was fine but this theatre experience was no fun yes it had new fancy seats but not so good on a pregnant woman who cant lean back because the pressure on my spine cuts off my blood flow, the seats sure did recline and to my astonishment they leaned back no matter what you did I didn't have the option to sit straight up at all I ended up having to scoot up and sit at the end of the seat and just sit straight up hoping everyone behind me could still see. Then my back would start hurting so id have to sit back for a few minutes before sitting back up to catch my breath I spent the 2 hours constantly shifting my big belly weight around and fanning myself because guess what...it was hot in there! I'm used to it being cold or close to freezing in theatres but not this one had to get a cup of ice to eat just to make it through.
So theres my experience or review on movie going while in third trimester maybe the big new theatre with its lounging seats arnt as good as an idea as the good ol theatre with seats you sit straight up in at least its supporting your back for a couple hours. Either way I say give into your cravings and enjoy a box of candy in my case Junior Mints for me how about you?

Happy with Sore Teeth & Pink Hair
Wow 4 months have went past as I read my last post I was in such a darker place then and am glad to say I'm not there anymore. I'm happy and positive as I'm used to. Of course, I am still going through some personal trials as we all do but things are good Ive enjoyed a delicious chocolate fudge cake for my birthday which had to be sugar free due to the gestational diabetes Ive got going on right now but can also share that everyone who had a piece wanted a second that was an adult and the kids didn't even notice either which made me really happy!
I also just got to celebrate my twin girls who are on the way with a baby shower last weekend and I literally smiled and laughed so much I spent the next day in bed because my teeth hurt so bad and no I know that's not normal my teeth have also took a hit this pregnancy and I am in need of some dental care but am praying and trying my best to put it off until after the birth. When that time does come Il still be in recovery from the birth and maybe slightly delusional from lack of sleep but better to get some teeth pulled then, than now and risk it throwing me into early labor. So a half smile here or there and if you spot me with my hand on my cheek I'm not really thinking that hard I'm just feeling a lil pressure in the jaw is all. Also gives me more reason to pass on that sugary sweet that looks so good but is so bad for me right now.
All in all I now have more energy most days then I had at the beginning and I'm not sick all the time it comes and goes according to my nose. My girls have been healthy the entire pregnancy and that's what matters to me they are growing and doing great, I myself have actually barely just gained 20 pounds the whole 8 months so far but i sure look like its lots more being as my stomach sticks out so far I am the width of two of me but if you catch me just from the front its not a big difference.
I also have wanted for years to dye my hair hot pink but have never done so for different reasons but finally went through with it just a couple of pink highlights representing my love for pink and more celebration for my baby girls and all I can think is why did I put this off for so long it feels totally normal and me. Its also cute to hear my two year old yell its PINK! when I put my hair up and he catches a glimpse. Who knew you could teach your toddler colors with your hair?
